Once again we have quite the exception to the stereotype of an Infiniti G35. Alex Beumer built his G to be sent at the limit and needless to say, has done just that! The mods list includes a forged internals kit, Stillen grounding kit, K&N Intake, lower plenum spacer, 75mm ConceptZ throttle body, ISR long tube headers, ARK true dual exhaust, Z1 upgraded silicone kit, Mishimoto short throw on a CD009 swapped transmission, and to utilize all of this an Osiris tune done by Z1 Motorsports. Very clearly more than meets the eye here.
However this was just the list for engine/power mods, but what good is a powerful drift car if you don't have the suspension to support it? Alex's answer to this question included GKTech Superlock lower control arms and upper control arms, Megan Racing angle kit and camber kit, Tein lowering springs, and Poleyurethane engine, transmission, and exhaust mounts, also including an ABS and Yaw sensor delete.
Allot of time, energy, and love has been put into Alex's G35 and it shows on track as he's able to turn lap after lap getting sideways without the worries of the car not being able to handle it. Having personally seen this car quite a bit it is a certified good time on track and really just turns on and can be sent without a care in the world. If you'd like to see Alex's G get sideways in person his home track is Midpond down in Columbiana Al. All in all a fantastic example of what the south can throw down for drift cars.
